Little late because I forgot, but here’s what I was Playing last week:
Dead Space. Thats it, but the game is just the awesome. Survival Horror at it’s best this year. Ship full of aliens that jump from walls and are killed easiest by decapitation. I almost…..almost, freaked out the first time I shot ones head off, saw it go down, tried to wak by, and got attacked as it stood up again.
Pretty scary at times (tho not to me haha). 5 of the sixish weapons aren’t even weapons, they’re tools. Aliens dont die from head being shot off. It’s Scifi. It’s resident evil + doom combined.
Get dead space, give it to you kids, watch them never sleep again.

It’s that time of the week again.
I started out by Finishing Star Wars The Force Unleashed. It was an amazing game, even if it did lack the customization of force powers previous star wars games had.
*spoilers*
First, tossing stormtroopers and crushing AT-ST’s into paper balls was amazing to begin with, then they added the most awesome lightsaber color you could imagin, BLACK. my god that saber was cool. instead of white with a color glow it was black with a white glow and looked beautiful. To top the game off you force pulled a star destroyer into a planet, had a romp through the laser tunnels of a death star, and if you so choose fight both vader and the emporer. and alot of this is after witnessing the death of Leia’s father, this all happens at a time period seemingly the beginning of Star Wars Ep 4 if i’m correct. and most of the game is supposed to be able to fit in canonically with the star wars universe unlike so many games.
*/end spoilers*
Picked up marvel ultimate alliance at the suggestion of someone, and it’s pretty fun for a game I would have normally passed up not being a comic nerd. But hey, Iron Man’s in it XD. not that he’s the only cool character. Dead pool seems awesome.
Finished my skill leveling diversion in Infinite Uniscovery, now I can get back to the storyline. Even found an awesome crafting chain that makes me a shitload of money. Each item takes 4 steps, costs 2900 and sells for 26000. now make ninety nine and you got about 2 mil. I’m tempted to max out to the 99 mil I could carry, but I do have other games to play and that would take a while.
Started F.E.A.R. files, and it delivers all the same creapiness, heart attack inducing moments the original F.E.A.R. did, now I just have to finish it before F.E.A.R.2/Project Origin comes out, which I hope raises the bar.
Beat A few more dungeons on Wariors of the Lost Empire for psp, and that pretty much covers the week.

Omg I almost didn’t play anything this week.
Even tho my 360 hdd is still in pieces I have other consoles I know, come on man……
But I did play one game. It was a source mod called Zombie Master 1.1.3 very fun, mixes FPS with strategy depending on whether your a survivor or the zombie master. If you have the Steam client and a source game you can go download any mod and you should get this one.
Well, maybe I’ll actually play something next week.

What have I been playing this week.
Not too much actually. I played a little more of Force Unleashed. Almost at the last level I decided to go back and get some holocrons, before getting bored after level 3 and deciding to just finish the game, which I have yet to do because my HDD is in pieces due to my case mod project XD.
I actually bought a PC game, The Witcher enhanced edition. It’s pretty fun, it’s basically a single player RPG and almost an Oblivion fashion, just a little more storyline oriented. Very fun game tho. I just need to install it on my dektop instead of my laptop which barely runs it.
And for absolutely no reason at all……okay thats a lie, i have a reason, I plugged a few hours into Pokemon Sapphire. In an attempt to get it far enough to capture what I need from it still on pokemon daimond, where I’m trying to get all of them, something I haven’t actually accomplished since the original red/blue days….oh god, I’m a geek.

Hello and welcome to round 2 of WHAT. I’VE. BEEN. PLAYING!!!!!!!!!!!!
Okay, lets get on with it. This’ll be quick, only 2 games this past week.
First was Infinite Undiscovery. After only 6 hours, i was on disk 2. Thats awful short for an RPG. Nevertheless it’s still a fun game. Right now I’m just wasting hours away leveling up crafting skills. why? because when you get to levels 4 and 6 of each skill you get 5 and 10 achievement points respectively. for a grand total of 125 for all skills at max. worth it? maybe.
Second we have Star Wars The Force Unleashed. Where you are encouraged to kill everyone and destroy everything. and for that we include this msn excerpt
Rhade ♫ says:
so what’s up?
Gamicon says:
star wars force unleashed
Rhade ♫ says:
sweet
Gamicon says:
rawr i am evil. Mission one after the vader prologue is “kill everyone on the ship” XD and the first 3 missions are jedi hunting
Rhade ♫ says:
XD
Gamicon says:
rawr, i want the facy awesome black lightsaber….where is it XD *end of last level, lol*
Rhade ♫ says:
XD
Gamicon says:
you can get all the lightsaber colors and variant of the colors like malfunctioning red, which is just red, but it’s not all straight, it sparks like it’s broken, and looks cool, diff costumes too.
Rhade ♫ says:
heh
Gamicon says:
lol, i keep breaking the lift XD
Gamicon says:
*level 1, oh hai mr jedi, i’ma crash your ship into the planet now
Rhade ♫ says:
XDXD
Rhade ♫ says:
man i need to buy that
Gamicon says:
*throws stuff at his head”
Rhade ♫ says:
heh heh
Gamicon says:
yeah, this is awesome
Rhade ♫ says:
sounds like it
Gamicon says:
*wryyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy, throws a stormtrooper a mile away*
Rhade ♫ says:
XDXD
And it very well is awesome. Grabbing Tie Fighters out of the air and tossing them around, killing rancors and at-st’s, hunting Jedi, Kashyyk, Playing as Vader, black light sabers, explosions, destructible environments, very destructible environments, force pushing enemies off of cliffs into lava pits, throwing everything at anything, and an interesting story too. XD
Thats all we have this week folks, see you next time.

Zune games are finally out, make sure you guys update your zune software on your computer and your zune, they are included in the most recent update. So far you only get Hexic and Texas Hold’em, but those are sure to keep you occupied for a few weeks until user made ones are released. I mean, come on, with music, video and RSS feeds you can keep busy until then cant you?

Starting something new, every week I’m going to talk a little bit about whatever games I played in the previous week. Some of these may be new, some may not.
First off, we have Lost Odyssey on the 360.

I played this the most throughout the week, and I managed to finish it on Thursday. Now, most games are a roller coaster of expense, but to me LO kept going and kept going, continuing to climax from the very beginning cut scene until the end boss, and even then it climaxed for a few more minutes before coming down to a peaceful ending resolution. LO has your standard rpg turn based battle system but with an added twist scene at least a few times before, the normal attack hit ring. When you use a normal attack a ring appears and a large ring encloses on it, when you hit the button at the moment they line up, you can get an added effect on the attack, extra damage, or a status effect or something else depending on what you have equipped. Which also brings up the unique Immortal characters in the game, they learn spell off of items or linking with mortals, and if the die in a battle they will auto revive after a few turns, unlike the mortals obviously. If you have a 360 and enjoy rpg’s give it a try.
After finishing Lost Odyssey, i put in Too Human.

Too human is a action shooter rpg. Your main weapon is a sword, which is backed up by a gun. and even tho it plays like an action game you level up and increase stats with equips. It is very unique with it’s VERY HEAVILY greak mythology inspired atmosphere. As of yet I am only 3 hours in.
And then there is Infinite Undiscovery

Yet another rpg, this one plays very much like Star Ocean on ps2. only you dont have to go to a seperate battle screen. Only about 50 minutes into this so cant say much. just kinda started it between tv shows.
other games i’ve been working on for awhile.
God of War psp: Temple of Helios. i never realized how fun god of war was.

Thats right, i’m not dead. Sorry if you wished I was and I just ruined your parade. XD. I just haven’t really had anything to post about.
Made This:

It’s made of about 7 or 8 different colors of matboard all cut out and stuck together onto a piece of black matboard so nothing shows through between the gaps. The headcrabs are ontop of everything else on their own layer. and the glass has the hl2 logo and the combine logo seen on half the propoganda posters in the game.
Working on getting a hold of a second case for my 360 so I can attempt to case mod it without damaging the original case. Gonna do a whole HL2 theme on it, which I’m still planning. Further updates on that once I get the case and actually start on it.

Well, a whole lot of new information, and i really need to update this more often.
First, i picked myself out a new screenname.
GAMICON duh duh duh, cue dramatic music…..fine then, or not. XD
mmmmmm sexy. my favorite kind.
sig i made for one forum representing new screenname.
I also got a new haircut. (debating whether to post pics here or not, i doubt you guys care anyways). and i look less ugly now because of it XD.
And lastly, i’m going back into college land. Taking some classes categoried ‘Information Technology’ starting off with just one course titled “Beginning Internet Web Master” just to see how i like it…basically the course list reminds me of things a companies IT department would be doing all day.
Also, Lost Odyssey on x360 is awesome….omg it is so visually and musically, and storyly orgasmic…..and the character Jansen is just fucking hilarious imo.
Seth: “Give it a rest”
Jansen: ” Rest? i’ve got plenty of time to rest, WE’RE IN JAIL!”
i’d say between that and the scene with the 2 girls where he first encounters seth make him comedy gold. XD i’m half afraid to see what this idiot says or does next. all the while Kaim seems to ignore both of them.
Lost odyseey does seem to pwn final fantasy at this point FFXII being a disappointment to me.
